Q: What time is check in?

A: Check in is between 3 pm and 9 pm. Special arrangements can be made if checking in outside of that time frame. (If checking in between 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm on Saturday, we will be at church and we will provide you self check in procedures.)

Q: What time is check out?

A: Check out time 11 am.

Q: Is breakfast included?

A: Yes, a three course hot breakfast is included in the price of the room. A fruit course, a main meal, and even breakfast dessert.

Q: What time is breakfast served?

A: Breakfast is served at 9 am.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: At the present time we only allow certified service animals.

Q: Is smoking/vaping allowed?

A: No smoking or vaping is allowed in the bed and breakfast common areas or guest rooms. We have provided a designated smoking area outside near the porch. Guests will be liable for any intentional damage to Moonlight Manor property. Smoking or vaping in the building is considered damage and a fee up to $250 will be assessed for cleaning fees.

Q: Can I burn candles or incense in my room?

A: Due to the fire hazard, no candle or incense burning is allowed on site.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: CANCELLATION of any reservation requires a 72 hour notice for full refund. Cancellation of less than 72 hours of reservation will only be refunded if we are able to rebook the room. Refunds will be sent via USPS.

Q: Is Moonlight Manor accessible for guests with mobility limitations?

A: All of our guest rooms are located on the second floor and are accessed by stairs. At this time, we are unable to accommodate guests requiring handicap accessibility.

Q: How far away are you from downtown Floyd or Meadows of Dan?

A: We are located halfway between Floyd and Meadows of Dan, VA?

Q: Is Moonlight Manor located on the Blue Ridge Parkway?

A: Yes, we are located between mile markers 170 and 171, then a short drive down Old Fields road to our location.

Q: How far away is Chateau Morrissette and Villa Appalachia Wineries from Moonlight Manor?

A: Chateau Morrissette is 1.4 miles away and Villa Appalachia is .7 miles away.

Q: How far away is Mabry Mill from Moonlight Manor?

A: Mabry Mill is 4.4 miles down the parkway from us.

Q: How far away is Buffalo Mountain Ziplines?

A: Buffalo Mountain Ziplines is 1.9 miles away.

Accessibility Statement

Moonlight Manor is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstance and ability. We aim to adhere as closely as possible to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0, Level AA), published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone. Whilst Moonlight Manor strives to adhere to the guidelines and standards for accessibility, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website and we are currently working to achieve this. Be aware that due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. Information Collection

Our main purpose in collecting your personal information is to provide you with a streamlined experience in making reservations at Moonlight Manor LLC. We only collect information about you that we consider necessary for achieving this. Personally identifiable information is only obtained when making a reservation. All identifiable information provided will not be disclosed to anyone unless we are specifically requested to do so. Moonlight Manor LLC does not give or sell to anyone any information we collect on our site.

We sometimes use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Site to measure effectiveness and safety. A "cookie" is a small file that gets placed on your harddrive that helps us provide our services. You are free to decline cookies if you choose to.

Security

At Moonlight Manor LLC, we take security seriously. When users make a reservation we use every precaution to safe guard it online and offline.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.
